Studebaker Nurseries History

For over 50 years, Studebaker Nurseries, Inc has strived for excellence in the nursery industry.  This family owned, full line wholesale nursery is committed to providing quality balled and burlapped and container materials.

Studebaker Nurseries, Inc. began as a family potato farm.  By the late 1950's, Gerald and Eldon Studebaker planted the first taxus and euonymus liners.  Through the years the nursery grew, both in acreage and plant diversity.  Today the nursery is under the ownership and direction of William and Dan Studebaker, and encompasses 1200 acres.

We grow a wide variety of taxus, trees, deciduous shrubs, and evergreens as field b&b stock, and in containers.

At Studebaker Nurseries, Inc. we understand the landscape business.  Every plant is grown with our customer's best interest in mind.  Our plants are landscape grade quality and are dug and shipped on a timely basis to our customer's jobsite or holding yard.

We are continuously evaluating new cultivars and introductions for hardiness, disease resistance,  and other new improvements.
